"Daddy DJ" is an electronica song recorded by French dance act Daddy DJ. It was its debut single from the album Let Your Body Talk, and was released in many European countries from June 2000. The music video was produced as an animated feature. It achieved a huge success on many charts, becoming the top ten in France, Finland, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. It even topped the singles chart in Sweden, Norway and Belgium (Wallonia).
In France, "Daddy DJ" is the 94th best-selling single of all time, with about 1,000,000 copies sold.[1]
The song tells the story of a boy who is left home alone by his DJ father, when all he longs for is to join his father on the dance floor.
